For more than 26 years now, F & J de Jesus, Inc., owned by the enterprising couple Fidel and Jovita “Bing’ de Jesus, has been importing and distributing book and non-book materials to suit the library needs of school, college, and university libraries nationwide. Her operations consist of different departments covering pre-school to professional materials in all subject fields.

            The company is also a direct bookseller serving the needs of families, individuals, and private corporations. Our company participates in book exhibits sponsored by professional organizations held in various campuses and is a regular participant in the annual Manila International Book Fair.

 In late 2004.  the publishing arm of F & J de Jesus, Inc. started its operations.  By October 2004, we started publishing some pre-school workbooks for use in Daycare Centers and Preschools. At present we have released 5 books under the Learn and Enjoy Series specifically, Reading, Math, Science, Filipino and Good Manners and Right Conduct. We also sought reprint rights of some college textbooks from different foreign publishers to make these more affordable to students.

 To answer the needs of our customers for a wide array of educational materials, we are establishing two (2) bookstores. The bookstore at the Paseo Real Mall in Tuguegarao City, which is targeted to open on July 2006, will cater to the needs of our clients in the north. The Little Professor Book Center located at the Mall of Asia opened last May 21, 2006.  Both bookstores are run and operated by Paperback Corp, a sister company of F&J de Jesus, Inc., with Mrs. Joanne de Jesus-Jimenez as president.

 With the advent of modern technology, the company, F&J de Jesus, Inc. decided to develop an online bookstore; thus, the birth of our website, aklatpinoy.mozcom.com.  We are the first Philippine website that sells books online. Once operations have been polished, we are planning to promote Filipiniana books worldwide. We would like to serve also our OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) around the world for the books needed by their relatives here in the Philippines.

 We are proud to say that through the years, the Company has maintained its good service and cordial relationship with more than 3000 institutional clients and more than 50,000 individual customers.

 The measure of our efforts can be found in the acknowledgement by various local library associations of our support and contribution to the programs and activities of the library profession.

 Not content to just sit on her laurels, F&J de Jesus, Inc. uses the recognition from various individuals and institutions as her motivation to continue helping improve the quality of life of the Filipinos through quality books.
